International Risograph Coalition #1 Edition

For the past seven years, Secret Riso Club and Can Can Press have grown their practices in New York and Mexico City respectively. Both born from the idea of growing a creative art practice that centers art and design, connects with community and embraces experimentation, the parallel practices have met at many intersections.

We are celebrating both studio’s 7 year anniversary to showcase the longevity, creativity, abundance and richness of practice that is amplified through friendship, connection and resource sharing.

Design Justice Playdate #2

This beginner-level workshop will take participants through all the tools and functions of Adobe Photoshop, explore sweatshop-free merchandise design as a tool for mutual aid, the origins of graphic design, how to design for housing accessibility, and more.

Sequence & Print: A Photobook making Workshop

With:
Youvalle Levy (Replika Publishing, Bildband Berlin) and Colin Stearns (Nonlinearbooks, Parsons)

A workshop designed for photographers who are interested in transforming their projects into a printed book. During this workshop, you will learn how to sequence, conceptualize, edit, and print your own project. You will also learn the basics of a layout program, working with a pre-designed template to create the book. A week later, once printed, Secret Riso Club will host a book launch.
