“How do you describe a home to a person you love?” - Anton Shammas, Arabesque

In this three day workshop, we’ll gain the tools and knowledge on how to visually respond to an excerpt from Palestinian author Anton Shammas. As a group we’ll create a collaborative zine surrounding the concept of home and what that looks and feels like to you. Participants will learn how to visually respond to a text, how to create and bind a booklet and how to work together creatively with others. This workshop is aimed towards folks who are interested in creating a project with other like minded individuals and have had some riso experience in the past, no materials are needed for this workshop.
